I had a lot of fun using a new technique that I came up with using the smudge, blur and gradient tools in the flower and the rest of the plant.

The original idea was to use this tutorial ([link]) in the rose (that is why >I used the ocean as the background), but I thought it would not look to good with the technique I used in the rose. Maybe I´ll use it later

Well I don't know if there is a story behind the painting, but basically I imagined a guy that holds a rose which symbolizes his love to someone else. He must hold the flower to make sure that it does not drown. Not necessarily that has to be the story. I only wnated to draw a flower and the ocean. If you have any other good story you came out with, put it in the comments.

This painting has some optical illusions:
(1) You can't tell if the rose is above or inside the water. I wanted this to symbolize the doubt of if the person the holds the rose is still alive or not.
(2)Their are two light sources: one that comes from the top that can be seen in the flower and the stem, and another one at the botton that illuminates the hand. This was actuallly a mistake, but when I noticed this, I realized that I liked it that way. It might symbolize the light of the life of the person or... the shining light of the lost kingdom of Atlantis or idk. hahahahahaha. You decide.

Título: Sostendré esto por ti... hasta mi muerte.

Me divertí bastante usando una nueva tecnica que se me ocurrió usando las herramientas de smudge, blur y gradient (no se exactamente como se llaman estas herraminetas en español, mi photoshop es en inglés) en la flor y el resto de la planta.

La idea original era usar este tutorial ([link]) en la rosa (por eso utilice el oceano de fondo), pero pense que no quedaria bien con la tecnica que aplique en la rosa. Talvez la usaré luego.

Pues no se si hay una historia detras de esta obra, pero basicamente me imagine a un tipo que sostiene una rosa que simboliza su amor hacia alguien. El debe sostener esa flor para hacegurarse que no muera ahogada. No necesariamente esa tenga que ser la historia. Yo solo queria dibujar una flor y el océano. Si tienen alguna otra historia que se les ocurra, comentela por favor.

Este dibujo tiene ciertas ilusiones ópticas:
(1) No se sabe si la rosa esta adentro o fuera del agua. Quise que esto simbolizara la duda de que si la persona que sostiene esta tal rosa, sigue con vida o no.
(2)Hay dos fuentes de luz: uno que viene de arriba q se puede ver en la flor y en el tayo, y otro que que viene de abajo q illumina la luz. Esto dehecho fue un error, pero cuandolo noté, me di cuenta q me gustaba así. Puede simbolizar la luz de la vida de la persona o... la luz resplandeciente del reino perdido de la Atlántida o no sé. jajajajaj Decidan ud.
